A New Published Author on the Block

My memoir was published officially on September 5th, 2024. It is one of my proudest achievements. Since then, my friends and family have been dinging my inbox to show me their support, send pictures of their copies, and laugh and gasp about the stories I shared about my journey.

One thing I learned in this process is that the written word is extremely powerful. They hold the power to move people emotionally if used properly, or improperly for that matter. The book is written in the ink of conviction, and colored with the pains and joys of my experiences. It is the absolute truth as it happened. You can be sure of that.

But truth is not always what the world wants. We live in a society of appearances and what it appears to be, is valued over what it actually is. I've come to terms with that because I know that genuine relationships are not built on appearances. Relationships are built on truth, trust, honor, and respect. A genuine relationship cannot be built on appearances. It won't last...

Anyway, I say all that to say this: the raw expression of truth will not always be accepted by the society and the people in it, but I do not chase acceptance by anyone except our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! The people that do not accept my work... well God bless you. You are just letting me know that appearances mean more to you than truth and genuine relationships. But I love you anyway.

The truth is this book was put there to help someone who wants to achieve the unachievable! That is all!
